The AlcoHAWK® Slim breathalyzer is one of the most affordable and accurate semiconductor breath alcohol screening devices on the market. It features a sleek personal design roughly the size of a cell phone made of impact resistant abs material. The unit screens for the presence of alcohol quickly and is an ideal solution for a discreet easy-to-use unit. The Slim is equipped with a clear Ruby Red L.E.D. display. The unit comes pre-calibrated ready for use. The AlcoHAWK® Slim breathalyzer has also been upgraded to use a folding mouthpiece design for maximum portability yet also has the ability to attach disposable mouthpiece covers (3 included) for sanitary use by multiple users!

Quality Value for Price Ease of Use I was a bit uncertain that the tester would give accurate results at the price paid. After using the device several times and with different subjects I was surprised at the great results. Only drawback seems to be the 20 minute wait to take the test after eating, drinking or smoking. Quality Value for Price Ease of Use The Alcohawk slim is FDA approved and works perfectly. There is no need to buy a more expensive breathalyzer. Since you never know where .08, this is something that seemed perfectly reasonable. Now with almost all breathalyzers you will need to wait the recommended 20 minutes after your last drink, which is the only downfall. Very simple to use and small enough to fit in my pocket even though I just leave it in the glove box. (Posted on 4/20/09)

Quality Value for Price Ease of Use I bought this breathalyzer because I suspected that my teenage daughter had been drinking. Now she knows that I have it and will test her every time she comes home and so far so good. The Alcohawk works great. Quality Value for Price Ease of Use The device is easy to use and only took 2 AA battery's to get it up and running. The calibration seemed fine and measured consistently from 0.0 to .11 when we tried it out for the first time. It was VERY entertaining to see how long (or how quickly!) it took different people with different body types to reach the legal limit. Quite the eye-opener for several! (Posted on 4/20/09)
