Fine machine although it seems to need factory recalibration soon. Review by rsmg
Quality Value for Price Ease of Use Solid, well-packaged and constructed unit. You have to appreciate the manufacturer's willingness to let one consumer risk coloring potential buyers. Honestly, I don't believe I have blown into this device more than 40-50 times over the three or so years I've owned it, yet, whenever I've tried it, past year or more, it seems to be reading quite high. This morning, (and I rarely do this), I consumed a "double" Bloody Mary using two "miniatures" of Smirnoff 80 proof vodka. Also consumed a moderate breakfast. At least an hour later, I blew a .19! I happen to weigh about 230 lbs., as well. I don't believe I should have to pay for recalibration under these circumstances. Again, though, I congratulate the company for their socially responsible products and business practices.
